Pulau lang Tengah is a small island that lies between Redang island and Perhentian island. This tiny island can be accessed by a boat ride from the Merang jetty. Lang Tengah’s name is taken from the word ‘Lang’ which means ‘eagle’ in the Malay language. Tengah means ‘middle.’ It translates roughly to ‘eagles resting on the middle island.’
A trip around the entire island takes only ten minutes. Land is quite limited and the beach is very narrow. The island has only 4 resort operators. So if you do decide to visit, you can be sure of having a peaceful stay. You can also go scuba-diving or snorkeling here.
